Projects in Ghana, and soon in the Netherlands
Fofie Foundation works small-scale and with public figures. Our main project is the school in Daban near Kumasi. Alongside it we are preparing a second pillar: projects for young people in the Netherlands.

The school in Daban
In Daban, a village near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, our own building team is constructing a school with 24 classrooms. The structure is up. Now comes the finishing on the inside, classroom by classroom.

Who we build for
The children we finish the school for
Alongside the building in Daban, the foundation hands out learning materials to children in the region around Kumasi. They are the reason we finish every classroom.
Second pillar
In the Netherlands too
Alongside the building in Ghana we are preparing projects for young people in the Netherlands. This pillar is in preparation. We deliberately promise nothing we cannot yet deliver.

Room for new projects
We only start a new project once the previous one is finished. As soon as the school in Daban is completed, we will look at a next school in the Ashanti Region. Every new project will appear here, with its own status and public figures.

Where we work
Projects in Ghana with our own local building team
Fofie Foundation builds schools in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. We work small-scale, without intermediaries and with our own building team from the region around Kumasi. That way the money you give goes straight to the construction and you see exactly what happens with your gift.
The main project is the school in Daban, with 24 classrooms of which the structure is complete. On the project page you see the floor plan, the register per classroom and the building log. You can donate securely via iDEAL, and because we are an ANBI your gift is tax deductible.
