Donate to education in Ghana
With your donation Stichting Fofie Foundation finishes the school with 24 classrooms in Daban. Your gift goes to the construction: materials, skilled workers and furnishing. Only bank and transaction costs are deducted, and those are limited. We are an ANBI, so your gift is tax deductible.

Finish the school in Daban
Our own local building team has built 24 classrooms up to the roof. The shell is finished. What remains is the finishing on the inside: plastering, floors, windows, doors and furniture, so every classroom is ready for the children and the school can open. This still requires 250,000 euros.
The amounts in the donation block are guide prices from our building budget. Your gift always goes to the school in Daban. Rather transfer it yourself? What a one-off gift to the construction achieves
A one-off gift goes to finishing the school: every amount is linked to a concrete part. Want to send a child to school? Then choose a monthly gift of 30 euros above.

Periodic giving with a tax benefit
If you fix your gift for five years in a written agreement, then every euro is deductible, with no threshold. Someone who wants to give 100 euros net can pledge about 160 euros this way: the tax authority contributes the rest. No notary needed, we fill in the agreement together with you.

You pay in the secure environment of your own bank. Monthly donations run via direct debit and you can stop them at any time.
ANBI and tax deductible
Fofie Foundation is an ANBI. Your gift is deductible on your tax return. Our annual accounts and policy plan are available online.

Questions about donating
Do I get a receipt for my donation?
Yes. After an online donation you receive a confirmation by email straight away. For your tax return your bank statement and our ANBI registration are enough.
Can I donate for a specific part?
Yes. When you transfer, mention for example school desks or painting. We earmark your gift and show in the building log what was done with it.
What happens if more comes in than is needed for Daban?
Then the surplus goes to the next school project in the Ashanti Region and to our projects for young people in the Netherlands. This is also stated in our policy plan.
How do I stop my monthly donation?
With an email to info@fofiefoundation.com. We confirm the cancellation within two working days, without questions or small print.
