Who is Tonny Wehrmeijer?
Tonny is a content creator and storyteller. He walks up to people on the street and asks how they are doing. Sounds simple. Yet something special often happens: people share things they could not tell anyone for years. He films those encounters and shares them online. It moves people because it is real, he keeps listening, even when the answer is hard or silent.

What reach can mean for someone
On TikTok over 99,000 people follow Tonny, on Instagram another 21,000. Nice, such a large audience. But what can you do with it? One story shows it well. Tonny asked people on the street for a euro for the tram. A woman, Mirjam, responded warmly and gave more than he asked. The video was shared widely. Then his community raised over 1,000 euros to surprise her, and that amount was doubled to 2,000 euros. Enough to really help Mirjam. That is how reach becomes something concrete for a person.
The role of Fofie Foundation
Behind Fofie Foundation stands Dennis Toppin Fofie, a social entrepreneur. His foundation brings together people and organisations who want to make a social difference. The division is clear. Tonny tells the stories, Fofie helps build the movement around them. That can be all kinds of things: making contacts, setting up actions, arranging help and getting things moving where it is needed. An encounter on the street can grow into something that lasts.
